Research on typographers - Matthew Carter

Matthew Carter is a type designer from the United Kingdom who has received the CBE award. The amount of text set in his commonly used fonts, according to a 2005 New Yorker feature, made him "the most widely read man in the world.“

Carter's most used fonts are the classic web fonts Verdana and Georgia and the Windows interface font Tahoma, as well as other designs including Bell Centennial, Miller and Galliard.

Walker is a sans-serif typeface with optional serifs for certain letters, special ligatures, joining strokes, and a flexible underlining system.

I really like Matthew Carter's work and his different typefaces and i think that i will definitely consider them for my project.
